Adam Lambert prepares for his closeup

Never say never.  It was the quickest kiss-and-makeup in the history of Hollywood.  After cancelling Adam Lambert’s scheduled appearance on Good Morning America and their New Years Eve show for explicit sexual behaviour during a performance on their American Music Awards two weeks ago, ABC has had a sudden change of heart.  They are giving the green light for Lambert (@adamlambert) to perform on The View on December 10th.

You can bet there’ll be no spit-swapping man-on-man kissing and crotch-humping during his performance on The View (unless Ms. Walters herself orchestrates it).  For his part, though Lambert refused to apologize for his performance, he has also refrained from criticizing ABC harshly — pointing, instead, to the intense pressure the networks are under from the FCC (and the hypocricy of said FCC in allowing girl-on-girl spit-swapping kisses). 

It’s very interesting that ABC is giving Lambert a second chance at performing on a daytime talk show (of all shows and time slots).  Our advice to Lambert (in the immortal words of divalicious drag queen RuPaul):   Don’t fuck it up.

Now that ABC and Lambert have made up, could Tiger and Elin be next?
