Well written post. Will there be a follow up sometime soon?
I have been away from the loop with football to much time. I loved it as a youngster, growing up. Being from Texas, it had been always the Cowboys. Back then, the heroes were Roger Staubach and Tom Landry. Eventually, after shifting to California, I found myself often rooting for John Brodie of the 49ers, but it surely was always Cowboys when the two came head-to-head. Today, I’m retired. The stress of due dates, personal tasks and endless errands have declined. And I wax nostalgically for the gridiron plus the excitement of the tournament. Yes, I’ll be watching so much more football. You may bet on it.
