They came out of the closet at The Teen Choice Awards when they arrived arm-in-arm, gazing into each other’s eye’s like lovestruck puppies Sunday night (August 9th).

Of course, it was all another one of Kathy Griffin’s publicity stunts for which she has become notorious on her Bravo reality series Kathy Griffin: My Life On the D-List but, regardless, Kathy Griffin and the daddy of Sarah Palin’s grandchild, Levi Johnston, canoodling got the desired effect: press and laughter.

The ruse continued last night when Griffin guest-hosted on Larry King Live and had has her guest none other than her d-list cohort and fake lover Levi .

It’s hysterical (would you expect anything less from Kathy Griffin?).   I don’t know which is funnier, Kathy Lee discussing the supposedly exhausting all-night sex-a-thon she and Levi had or his expression when she does it (a cross between “I’m going to crack up any minute now” and “I know this is all a joke but this chick is on crack”).

You have to feel a bit sorry for Levi — Kathy is clearly too much woman, too much comedian, too much… everything for him to handle (even a man twice his age couldn’t keep up with her).

They discuss their “love”, the Teen Choice Awards and (drumroll please)… the Palin family.  He confesses that he’s “…not really looking forward to being around that family anymore.”  Anyone else think Sarah Palin is going to rip his butt cheeks in half when he gets back to Alaska?

Kathy and Levi – love lives!
