If you listened to Rush Limbaugh’s show today, you would think President Obama (@barackobama) was cracking at the seams — breaking down into a delirious panic brought on by none-other than…  Rush Limbaugh (@limbaugh).

In the following brief clips from Limbaugh’s radio talk show, he lambastes Obama as being capable of doing “anything” to get his healthcare bill signed, of “being unhinged” and of delaying a news conference so that his aides can tell him what Limbaugh is saying (apparently, according to Limbaugh, everything stops in the White House when Limbaugh is on the air).

It’s clear that the constant chipping away at Obama’s health care and stimulus package is having a negative effect on him (as verified by numerous poles).  He has plenty of reasons to be worried right now.  But Limbaugh’s claims that he’s having coming “unhinged” are theatre at best.  And as far as Obama delaying his press conference to hear what Rush Limbaugh is saying about him, it is far fetched but not completely inconceivable (as nothing is in Washington).

Limbaugh is a cause of concern for Obama more now than ever now that his numbers are softening in the polls.  Between the economy and health care, he will have to get a handle on this situation that has clearly gotten out of control if he has any hopes of passing any health care bill by mid-August.

This could all very well be his undoing if he doesn’t.
