Letterman with his audience

Letterman with his audience

David Letterman lets lose in his opening monologue.  His best joke, no doubt, is his response to Sarah Palin’s resignation over the weekend:

“Was it something I said?”

Nice.  The irony of his statement is that, while it was a joke, reporters asked Palin’s reps if there was any truth to it and they said that, in fact, Letterman and the media (the big bad media) is what chased her out of office.
