Jenna & Shatner

In a candid interview with William Shatner (@WilliamShatner) on his web talk show Raw Nerve, former porn star Jenna Jameson explains why she left her first husband (who she starred in porno films with) and why it was the best thing that ever happened to her. She also touches on her belief that everybody has an inner-porn star and that we would all like to have sex as much as she does but we have been trained to think it is bad and dirty so we never live out those fantasies.

Jenna is 8 months pregnant and engaged to boyfriend (and baby’s daddy) Tito Ortiz (UFC fighter).

It doesn’t get any better than William Shatner (the original Captain Kirk) having his own talk show (why a network hasn’t snatched him up is beyond me – he’s interview skills are damn good).  He actually seems to be able to genuinely empathize with Jameson’s painful divorce (which she explains in detail) and her subsequent departure from doing porn (which Shatner calls, in a mildly creepy way, “porno” — he just doesn’t sound right saying it).   Also, the clips where he consults with his daugher about the show are priceless and great expository content (I’d actually rather see more of that — isn’t it time he had his own reality tv show?).

Also, after the talk show clip, I’m including a clip that Shatner posted on his Twitter account the other day showing JJ Abrams giving him a hug.  Abrams and Shatner had a falling-out over Shatner’s possible appearance in Star Trek didn’t pan out.   Also, Shatner has an announcement about a new project.  You can check it out here.
